In My Mailbox 19

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.

Books I received this week.

In The Post:

The Ghost and the Goth - Stacey Kade

I have been meaning to get this for ages and now I have the second book from netgalley I thought it was time.

The Lucky Kind - Alyssa B. Sheinmel
I have been looking forward to this book for months as I loved her first novel soooo much.

Wolves, Boys, and Other Things That Might Kill Me - Kristen Chandler
Another book I have been wanting to get for ages.

Something Like Fate - Susane Colasanti
Her new book just came out and I realised I hadn't got her last one so I had to get it.

Twenty Times A Lady - Karyn Bosnak
It's just been made into a movie and it looks hilarious so I thought I would give the book a try first.
Recommendation from a fellow blogger - ames @ Thrifty Reader.

Hard Bitten - Chloe Neill
The fourth book in the Chicagoland Vampire series. I have the first three in my tbr pile. I think I will wait until the fifth book comes out in November before reading them.

The Mammoth Hunter - Jean M Auel
The Plains of Passage - Jean M Auel

Not pictured as they were bought for a friend.

Well I hope you all had a better week than me because mine sucked. Work has been pretty hard and I have been exhausted this entire week. All I managed to do in terms of reading was finish up Moonglass which is so not like me, I can usually read two or three books a week but I just haven't had the energy. I have however watched the first 20 episodes of The West Wing, one of my all time favourite shows so that's cheered me up some. Here's hoping next week will be better.

That's all for now.

  1. VERY VERY smart to read Hard Bitten--and the rest of the series closer to November! The end of Hard Bitten is really intense, so I highly advise waiting til you have Drink Deep to read afterwards, because now I am in agony waiting for it! :)

My IMM goes up tomorrow! Be sure to stop by!

  4. HI Sally, I'm with you on the series..always good to have a few books before starting. We've been blessed in Australia with the mass release of The Morganville Vampire Series (Rachel Caine). The first 9 books were released in quick succession over 3 months!!! Hope you have a better week next week!

  10. really nice books! i wont read the girl and the goth, for some reason most books portray goths as moody and antisocial (so not! i am so proof!) lol. =) i will read your review however.

  17. Oo You got Chloe Neill, I want to read her books. Chicagoland Vampires sound great series. I like a series where I can read a mass of the books in one week. Nearly through The Morganville Vampires. I will be putting part 3 of Rachel Caine Q & A's up in half hour or so. Youtube is just doing its thing processing them at moment.
    Nice lot of books.
