Teaser Tuesday 21


Teaser Tuesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Should Be Reading.

The idea is to:
Grab the book you are currently reading.
Open it up to a random page.
Share two teaser sentences.
Give the name and author of said book.
And remember No Spoilers!

I started reading What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen earlier today - loving it.

"Odd how it was so easy for a stranger to assume such familiarity. Especially when those who were supposed to know you best often didn't, not at all."

Mclean never lets herself get too attached . . .

After the scandal of her mother’s affair, Mclean and her dad chose life on the road. But since losing her family and home, Mclean has lost herself too; she’s been Eliza, then Lizbet, then Beth - changing her name as often as she changes towns. Until now.     OOh that's a good teaser! I like that too because I can see some truth in it. We all hide some things, even from our loved ones.

    Such an interesting teaser--her life isn't anything like mine but I agree, it can sometimes be easier to talk to strangers than people you know.
